North Berwick town
centre - just two minutes walk away. Down the road is the harbour with
the award winning Scottish Seabird
Centre. There are wide, safe sandy beaches, making them ideal for family days
out.
Boat trips take you out to the islands, the largest of which is the bird sanctuary of the
Bass Rock,
There is also The Law to climb,
giving you an unbeatable view of East Lothian and the Firth of Forth.
North Berwick is in the heart of the Golf Coast with numerous local and
East Lothian golf courses. Other sports include
tennis,
diving, and putting.
Other nearby attractions include the
Museum of Flight
(with Concorde),
Tantallon and
Dirleton
castles.
The train takes just 35 minutes from North Berwick
into Edinburgh Centre (Waverley and Haymarket), making a visit to
Edinburgh easy and enjoyable.
